Pheasant's Tears

Kisi 2019

A single varietal Kisi obtained from grapes grown on vines planted in basalt at an altitude of 550 metres. In its production, 20% of the stalks are retained and maceration with skin contact lasts for three weeks. Both fermentation and subsequent ageing occur in qvevri. Spicy, wild acids and notes of ripe tropical fruits. An orange wine for the adventurous drinker. Eccentric and powerful that rewards the curious.
